Our Story
Alexakon was founded in 1988 by Kon Voudouris, a skilled builder with a passion for hands-on work and a reputation for taking on jobs others wouldn’t. From small renovations and landscaping to underpinning and major home builds, Kon built the business from the ground up with integrity and hard work.
As the company grew, so did Kon’s family—and a major turning point came after a life-altering event. While working on site with his brother, Kon was struck by lightning. The incident left him in hospital for months, and his recovery was long and challenging. But with resilience and the support of his wife Alex and two sons, Kon made a full recovery and returned to the work he loves.
In 2012, his sons John and Peter officially joined the business, working alongside their father and helping take Alexakon to new heights. Together, they’ve carried on the family legacy, focusing on residential excellence and remedial expertise, while building genuine, long-lasting relationships with clients and communities.
